New challenge at Creative Playground

Hi peeps we have a new challenge over at

Theme: Fall Impressions

This challenge runs October 1 - November 4

The leaves are starting to turn and that is a sure sign that fall is making itself know in most of North America and other parts of the world. One of the things I love about the autumn season is that there are many different things going on. Not only do you have the bright colours associated with the change of the season but there is also Halloween coming up at the end of the month along with Thanksgiving for both Canadians (Oct. 10th) and Americans (Nov. 24th). This gives you lots of ideas to choose from. However, this month we have a DOUBLE challenge for you. Not only do we want to see a fall themed creation, BUT we also want to see some embossing on your project. Now if you don't have any equipment to emboss, it is perfectly fine to use pre-embossed papers. As long as there is embossing of some nature on your project, and of course it is fit into the fall theme, it will qualify for this challenge.

Looking for some more fall themed inspiration to get you started? Be sure to check out all the other wonderful sets in the STORE that would be great for this kind of project.

**If you are not familiar with our Playground Rules, please read through them HERE.

and now....

for my card

I have used the coloured image and decoupaged it I then cut out extra leaves from the image .

Image & sentiment from Autumn

I then mounted the image on

paper from Woodlands

to fit in with the challenge I used a leaf embossing folder and embossed the orange card blank I then used ground espresso ink to make the leaf stand out.

thanks for checking out my card
