Red, White and Blue

Happy Sunday , well we are half way through the year and here on the isle of Man we haven't seen much sun, hope it better where you are.
Today its a new challenge from

The theme for this challenge is
 " Red , white and blue"
and may I know wish all my/our
 American friends a very Happy 4th of July.
(Our celebration of independence  on the isle of Man is July  5th)
So what have I created.
I have used 

1. I printed the image,White & Blue x 4
2. Coloured first layer blue with pro-markers
3. Coloured Eiffel tower on second image red.
4. Coloured the poodle with cool grey 1 slightly,
so the poodle looks white and just coloured her bows.
5. mounted the image up.
6. Topper mounted on a selection of red, white & blue card and paper.

Mr & Mrs

Hi folks it's Thursday and that means its my LAST proper post as a Guest Designer at
I have really enjoyed working with great products and a great team, So many, many thanks for the opportunity Sarah.
But The great news, I would like to share with you is I been asked to stay as a permanent design team member whoop!  whoop!!
So what have I made

 I decided to join in with the wedding season and design
 a wedding card.
Using the Gatsby papers from the digi kit.
So what did I do
1. I printed off an assortment of the teal & grey papers in assorted sizes.
2. mounted papers up on basic grey card & card blank.
3. Used the teal deco journal tag in GIMP and 
added MR & MRS.
4. Mounted tag on to embossing board and embossed with clear embossing powder.
5. Mounted on grey card.
6. Added grey flower ribbon and pearls to finish.

Vintage with layers and lace

 So what did I do
 1. Stamped background card with lace stamp and distressed with brushes
2. Stamped over image with crackle stamp from Inkylicious 
3. Coloured image with pro-markers ,tore edges then added gold embossing powder
4. Tore and crumpled paper(next layer) and added distressed ink to creases
5. Tore edges and rolled next  2 layers of card
6. added vintage lace to blue card.
7. finished off with pearls on butterflies and card corners

No Designer paper with Creative Card Crew

Happy Tuesday folks, and that means we have a new challenge from
This challenge fortnights will be
"No designer papers"

The Scrapping centre hold a good supply of Tim Holtz products and that is what I have decided to use for my card.

So what did I do
1. Stamped the cupcake from Birthday Blueprint x 2
2. Colour image with distress pens.
3. Emboss top image with iridescent embossing powder
4. Use brushes and distress inks for background.
5. Stamp sentiment label in tempting turquoise ink to match backing card.
6. Stamp sentiment in black
7. Mount topper image onto turquoise card then onto kraft card blank,
finish off with black pen forming freehand  frame.
8. Mount  metal charm

Fur & Feather

For my card

 So what did I do
1.Print image on to red card x 4.
2.Decoupage the hat with 3 layers using silicon glue. 
3. Add  lace, feather, jewel and pin embellishment.
4. Mount on black,red and black card base.
5. Add  red glitter gems to finish.

Recipe Challenge at Eclectic Ellapu


Hi Its Sunday and that means a new challenge from Eclectic Ellapu and today's challenge is a recipe.
 Your project must include 1 image stamped/digi,2 embellishments(ribbon,gems,charms etc)
3 papers and 2 die cuts .

1. Image coloured with pro-markers and mounted on silver miri.
2. 3 patterned papers mounted on card background
3. ribbon added on background and image topper
4.Merry christmas and christmas tree die cuts added to card

Getting ready for the 4th of July


New release part 3
I have used Patriotic Playfulness
coloured digi images and Americana papers.

Here is my card
So What did I do
1. Printed image 3 times ,also papers and  sentiment tag
2. Mounted paper on a 7 x 7 card.
3. Decoupaged owl and mounted on card.
4. Added sentiment 3d
5. Added gold glitter to sparkler
6. Finished of with star brads

Hedgehog Greetings

New Release day at

 and here is the second set of release images

The image was designed by Kris as one of the design team raises money for a hedgehog 
sanctuary, so she designed the image so cards could be made with the cute image on.
On the images you also receive  both without any sentiment in  the plaque, I decided to use the boy image and add Happy Birthday.
Here is my card


So what did I do
1. Image coloured with pro-markers
2. Image cut out with spellbinders  and finished with cloud masks and distress inks 
3. Fabulous Fall paper used , image mounted on blue background card and brown embossed card
on to kraft card blank.
4.Green rick rack ribbon added and yellow bow

Pretty petunia

Hi Its the 22nd and that means new release day at
and today we have 3 sets
the first is
This set can also be bought as coloured images too, but I opted to show you the black and white image that I had hand coloured. 
I love Kris' images, they are so good that sometimes all you need is the image.
Here is my card
So what did I do
1. Image coloured  with pro markers
2. Hummingbird decoupaged
3. Added distressed inks with brushes
4.Image and mounts cut with oval spellbinder die
5. Topper mounted on Centura card
6. Pearl flowers added

A Bit of a Toff

Hi Folks its Thursday and that means it's another card from me as guest designer at


Today I have used stamps from my

1. I stamped the photo frame in a selection of different colours.
2. stamped pieces of the toff stamp in each frame.
3. added ink with brushes
4. cut frames up and mounted them up in the order of the stamp.(Decoupaged)

5. mounted on to black , silver miri and black card to make topper.
6. added  clear drop to monocle
7. mounted on to card added sentiment.

Crafty Blogger Network Mid Month Inspiration

Well  folks I have been bursting to tell you I have been offered a place on 
Just in time to join in with their mid month inspirations.

We were given some wonderful  die cuts to work with on the Bright & Breezy Challenge

My Bright card
 1. On this card  I have  used the shoe die cuts which were embossed with Chloe's WOW embossing powder 
2. Chloe's shoe verse stamped in melon mambo 
3. shoes mounted and finished with gems.
4. Mounted on Cerise miri and black card.

My Breezy card

On this card I have used 2 of Gina's die cuts  the ships wheel .
1. I coloured with pro marker pen and the telescope I embossed with brass embossing powder.
2. I used the Open Sea Stamp set from Stampin Up stamped in soft suede .
3. I then used my brushes and distress inks for the background.
4.The image was mounted on  assorted car on an 8 x 8 card blank.
5.Finished off with happy birthday sentiment and anchor charm hemp twine.
