New Year Balloons

Hi Folks it's Tania here with my pick of the week on Dragons den.
Where do the weeks keep going
Christmas is just around the corner
2 days and counting
The image that I have used has come from the fabulous Stamping Dragon Designs Shop .

There are some wonderful images that you can purchase and once you buy one you will be hooked.

For my image today  I have chosen
Balloons
a fun image. The image could be used for a male or female card for any occasion.
The balloon image is a set of 4 but you could use as many as you needed to say anything.
I decided to go for the new year.
I coloured the balloons with Graph it pens, cut them out and 3d foamed them on to the black card then applied Pinflaire glaze when this dried it helped to give dimension to the balloons. I used glitter peel offs for the letters. I stuck on the star gem and added sakura pen to add tails. The whole topper was then added to a DL card.
I think it looks so effective.

Make sure you pop on over to the Shop and have a browse , there is a great selection of  Images available for you to choose from.

We also have a Stamping Dragon Facebook Group , where we have lots of fun , inspiration for you , mini challenges and lots , lots more, so why not come over and see us.

Well that's  it from me for today, have a wonderful festive break.
See you soon

I have decided to alter a large vitamin pot into a pen holder, and forgot to take a photo before  I took the label off
 So what did I do
1. I stippled the pot with acrylic paint , using a shaving brush in  layers of blue for the sky & green for the ground
2, I fussy cut 2 of the  flower shelf images from Bugaboo
then coloured them with Promarkers and Graphit pens

3.When the pot was dry I used PVA to stick the images on to the pot

 4. To Finish off I added Papermainia mini buttons to each of the flowers centres. Assorted card butterflies with pearls as their torso and finally blue ric-rak around the tub lid.
 .
Even if I say so myself the pot looks lovely.

Challenge 38 Ladies Cards with Artistic Inspirations

Here at Artistic Inspiration we have a new challenge
Ladies Cards
Our sponsor this week is
Floppy Lattes Digital Designs ::All Digital All The Time
The winner will win a voucher to spend in the shop.
Here is my card made with the Butterfly and Hibiscus image.
I have coloured the image with my new Graph it pens, they are very rich in colour, and decoupaged it up.
For the background I have used a lace stamp (that I bought from The Stampman one of their Aspect of design stamp plates, not sure you can still buy it), stamped in so saffron mounted on so saffron card from Stampin Up .
I  then added a lace trim to one edge, I also mounted a doily behind the image, and to give it a girly vintage feel I added  swirls
 of mini pearls.
Thanks for calling by, please let me know what you think .

Footprints...

Just wishing you a Happy Easter Saturday, here is my offering today. Its a wall hanging for my Mum.
I had to get the frame from Delicious Doodles, I love peacock butterflies so that was a must and then with Foxgloves which always make me think of Summer (old wives tale and it works for me, Summer will last as long as the Foxglove has flowers on in the garden when the last one goes then Summer is over)
So I coloured them  with alcohol ink pens, I  used mostly Pro-Markers with the odd Graph it and I think Spectrum Noirs.
I then cut out the middle leaving the frame and mounted it on 4mm 3D pads from Stix.
The verse is the Footprint in the sand stamp from Our Daily Bread designs, not from the Bible but has kept me going in my deepest darkest moments and through life I have had a few, knowing or at least believing that you are never alone and there is someone to carry when you need them the most has got me through.
The verse was then slightly coloured with distress inks.
I then mounted it on black and lilac card from Stampin Up and plaited some ribbon to make wall hanger.
Many thanks for visiting, please let me know you have been
