Unusual Fold at Crafting with dragonflies

Hi Folks its Wednesday
 and that means
its a new challenge from
Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge Blog
Our sponsors are Delicious Doodles - 4 digis of winner's choice
 and Di's Digi Designs
The theme for this challenge is unusual folds
I have used the idea from Tammy and also her instructions
So what did I do
Step 1: Cut a piece of card stock to 12" x 7"
Step 2: Score on the 7" side at 1" and 6"
Step 3: Score on the 12" side at 1/2", 1 1/2", 3 1/4", 4 1/4" and 9"
This is a good time to state that I'm using 3 tea lights from Yankee Candles. You can always adjust the box portion based on what you want it to hold. If you want more tea lights make it larger than 7". If what you are putting in the box is taller than a tea light then your card portion will be smaller.

Step 4:
After you score your lines (as shown in black in above picture) you will want to cut out the unwanted pieces as pictured above. Don't forge to cut the slits to make the box flaps.
Step 5:
See picture below for placement of the adhesive.

Step 6:
Create an opening on your box. You don't have to create an opening but it's nice to see what goodies you've got in there. I've used the Word Window Punch from Stampin Up to great my opening. However you could use a Nestibility die or another punch. To get the Work Window Punch in the spot I wanted I folded up the 1/2" strip.

Step 7:
Let's up the box together. Fold the short ends in and adhere to the large flap.

Step 8:
Decorate
I have used an image from Delicious doodles
which I coloured with pro-markers and Sakura pen

To finish off I added  assorted buttons
with bakers twine and a anchor
Thanks for calling by,
let me know what you think.
