In Remebrance

Hi folks its the start of a new month and here is my altered art project for

This month I have altered a glass that I got free from the amenity site.

I cleaned the glass and dried it.
The orange thing is a Cushie neck pillow that once the glass is in place doesn't move.
I stamped the image on to paper then fussy cut it out, applied removable adhesive to the image and placed it inside the glass.

I then applied glass edging paint.

Once dry I used glass paints to paint the image.
Poppies are my favourite flower.

Finished glass.
as a candle holder , with sand in the bottom

WOW, Tania, utterly gorgeous, and I love the idea of putting a neck cushion under the glass, thank you for sharing this method.

Poppies and this time of year, bring my dad to the fore front off my mind, he was the President of the Dundee branch of the British Legion, and would be found everyday in November in town, with his poppies xxx
