On a broom

Hi Folk's we have a new challenge from

 Artistic Inspirations

Our theme this challenge is Anything goes/spooky

I have used on a broom from the sponsor to create my card.

I have coloured the image using Alcohol pens and the added wink of stella pens to make it sparkleI then fussy cut her out, I then used a cobweb embossing folder on black cauldron coredinations then sanded it  to show the orange, to finish the card I added assorted sequins and mounted it on purple card.

Over the Moon

Hi It's Tania here with my monthly DT spot.

Today I am using Over the moon image isn't it so cute , don't you just love the images.

I decided to make a congratulations card, there is so much going on at the moment both my boys are taking big exams , so hopefully it will come in for one of them.

I have coloured the image with promarkers  and added Wink of Stella to the moon and sentiment. The backing paper is black magic range from core'dinations which I have embossed and sanded.

Sleepy Moon Bear

For my card I have used
Sleepy Moon Bear

I have coloured the image using Spectrum Noir pens and the added wink of stella pens to make it sparkle, I then cut it out with a die and added ink with my brushes.. I used Black Magic core'dination card which I embossed with a star folder and sanded back, then I added gold glitter glue. This was mounted on holographic gold card, then onto a 6 x 6 inch card blank.

A bit of Steampunk

Meet Amelia , if I had a little girl that's what she would be called.

I got the image from the Monthly progressive challenge for

 Sassy Studio Designs on Paper Craft Planet

The theme for this challenge is 

Steampunk.

 So what did I do.

1. Image coloured with pro-markers.

2 Image cut out with Spellbinder and faux nestie mounted on 3D foam

3. Backing cor'dinations embossed, sanded and silver gilding wax applied .

4.Cogs cut from silver miri and centers added to make flowers.

5. Backing paper mounted on silver miri , orchid card and black card blank.

6. Finished off with Cosmic Shimmer vintage plum liquid pearl .

Spark Your Creativity mid month challenge reminder

So here is my card for the mid month show.

I have used Puppy Pilot from Meljen's Designs for my main image . I used spellbinder banner die for the Happy Birthday banner. I used the Stampin Up cloud embossing folder on core-dination card that I sanded down to show the clouds. I cut the hills out of different coloured card and stamped them with Hobby arts stamps.

Torn & Distressed

Hi its Sunday and its a new challenge from us at 

The new challenge is "Torn & Distressed"

For my card I have used the Bon Voyage Digi which can be found in the vintage section. 

This card really took me out of my comfort zone, wherever that is.

So what did I do,

 I first embossed the back layer of coredination card  and used the sander to bring out the pattern. 

I then used digi papers that I inked tore and rolled to make the next 2 layers.

The final image the first layer was printed on copier paper , scrunched up and then I went over the creases with distress inks.

 I then printed another of the images on better quality paper

and coloured it with my Promarkers .

I cut out the elements I needed and mounted them on the image  . 

I embossed the trimming on her hat to make it stand out.

To finish the whole card I added a bow in co-ordinating colour but I first went over it with my heat gun so it looked slightly withered.

Clouds

Hi  its that time again its our new challenge at

and this challenge theme is Clouds-clouds on image or falling rain/snow.

Our sponsor for this challenge is

I have used their Molly Fairy digi image.

I coloured the image using pro-markers and put Sakura gel pen glitter on her wings. I used the new cloud embossing folder for the background  from Stampin Up on Core'dination card then sanded it off  and then inked the clouds up. The images is suspended from the cherry tree spellbinder die cut and to fit in more with the challenge I used the cherry blossom falling like rain.The hills are hand cut from Stampin up card. the image was mounted on midnight muse card on a 5" x 7"  card blank .
