Hi It's Sunday and that means a new challenge from the Purple team at

Eclectic Ellapu

This weeks theme is 
Inspired by a Film
I decided to go for Alice in Wonderland

The clock reminds me of the White rabbit the large leaves look like Tweedledum & Tweedledee, the top leaf is like Alice falling and the checker board is like the table cloth.

The image is from Gingerloft which I coloured with Promarkers and added glossy accents

to the stopwatch and leaves.

To create the background I used a Stamps Away mask and added gilding wax to the embossed area.

Hi Folks its Sunday and

Our theme is the Great Outdoors

 So what did I do

1. I have used the  Whispering tree digi printed on to card.

2. I have used  home made masks and my distress inks and brushes and coloured the image with promarkers.

3.Image mounted onto black card and mounted onto a DL card blank and added my little birds..

Hi folks its Sunday and that means a new Challenge from Gingerloft

Our theme  this time is

"Anything but a Card"

I have used

Time for Beauty

and made a tag

So what did I do

1. Image coloured with pro-markers x 2 

(flowers only on 2nd)

2.Frame removed from image and extra flowers added to tag.

3. Added lines and more sentiment and coloured to match original image.

4. Matching ribbon & fibres added

It's a small World--UK with Gingerloft.

Hi It's Sunday and that means a new challenge from

Our theme this month is 

It's a small world

so use an image that represents where you are from.

I am currently living on the Isle of Man but originated from the United Kingdom.

So I have used the

London digi set 

So what did I do.

1. I printed the image on to printable acetate from Crafters Companion.

2. Then found an image of a Union jack and printed that off.

3.Making sure I had a white boarder i then mounted the acetate onto the flag.

4. Using Clarity  London miniatures I stamped around the outer edge. Then coloured with pro-markers.

5. To finish my card off I mounted onto Real red card from Stampin Up.

Bright Sunshine Yellow with Gingerloft

Hi It's Sunday and a new Challenge from 

Our new theme is

 "Bright Sunshine Yellow"

I have used

Day at the beach

digi image.

 So what did i do.

1. Coloured the image using pro-markers

2. Backed in dark yellow card.

3. I then took 5 pieces of assorted yellow card, cut to size

drew on my sun image then cut the card removing certain rays until the sun was complete.

4. Finished sun off with bright yellow stickles glue

4. Mounted sun image on orange card and finished off with bright yellow candi.

6. Topper mounted on 3d foam.

Hi Folks it's Sunday and that means a new challenge from 

Our theme this challenge is

Trees

For my card I have used

Tami's image

Tree on the hill

So what did I do

1. I printed the image on printable acetate

2 Covered the back of image with sticky-back plastic and used gilding flakes.

3. Mounted on black card at a jaunty angle

4. Matched jaunty angle with orange & silver card then mounted  black card  then a kraft card blank.

Red, White and Blue

Happy Sunday , well we are half way through the year and here on the isle of Man we haven't seen much sun, hope it better where you are.

Today its a new challenge from

The theme for this challenge is

 " Red , white and blue"

and may I know wish all my/our

 American friends a very Happy 4th of July.

(Our celebration of independence  on the isle of Man is July  5th)

So what have I created.

I have used 

Paris Poodle Set

1. I printed the image,White & Blue x 4

2. Coloured first layer blue with pro-markers

3. Coloured Eiffel tower on second image red.

4. Coloured the poodle with cool grey 1 slightly,

so the poodle looks white and just coloured her bows.

5. mounted the image up.

6. Topper mounted on a selection of red, white & blue card and paper.

For my card I have used

  Kite digi set

 1. print off 2 images.

2. colour image with pro-markers on the one to be decoupaged

3. Complete background with cloud masks and brushes and inks

4. Mount images on 3d foam  apply with the twine under the kite

4. Apply Yellow ribbon embellishments

5. finish off with sentiment and m birds 

6.Mount on kraft card blank.

Critters of the Sea

Its Sunday and that means its a new challenge from

this weeks challenge is Critters of the sea.

I decided to use

Sea Turtles & jelly fish
It makes you want to be on a Summer holiday
and warm beach.

I coloured my images with pro markers and uses my brushes and inks to create the background. I used glossy accents to make the bubbles.

I then mounted the image on silver miri card and then on a blue paper then on a kraft card,

To finish off the card I mounted my jelly fish on 3d tape.

Hi it's Sunday so that means it's a new challenge from Gingerloft

This challenges theme is

HAPPY  BIRTHDAY

 I have created my card using the Turtle B'day digi.

I have coloured the image with Promarkers and used my brushes and distress inks to create a background. The background papers are from a Stampin up set, which co-ordinate with my image. I then did a thin ribbon border from paper and a faux bow. I have used mini peel off sentiment and used round stick 3d foam for my embellishments which I sprinkled with  orange glitter.

Lilac & Lace

Hi folks it Sunday and that means a new challenge from Gingerloft.

Todays Challenge is Lilac and Lace.

 This is my card using the Floral Fairy with stars

which I have coloured using promarkers, I used my ink dusters and distress ink to colour the back of the image.

Then cut the image out with a spellbinder. The background was made using a lace stamp. I then added a piece of stampin up card covered with white lace, (this covers my joint in stamping).

 The image is mounted on 3d foam and to finish off the card I made some roses using a scallop circle punch cut from the background stamped paper stamped back and front and added leaves and swirls.

Torn & Distressed

Hi its Sunday and its a new challenge from us at 

The new challenge is "Torn & Distressed"

For my card I have used the Bon Voyage Digi which can be found in the vintage section. 

This card really took me out of my comfort zone, wherever that is.

So what did I do,

 I first embossed the back layer of coredination card  and used the sander to bring out the pattern. 

I then used digi papers that I inked tore and rolled to make the next 2 layers.

The final image the first layer was printed on copier paper , scrunched up and then I went over the creases with distress inks.

 I then printed another of the images on better quality paper

and coloured it with my Promarkers .

I cut out the elements I needed and mounted them on the image  . 

I embossed the trimming on her hat to make it stand out.

To finish the whole card I added a bow in co-ordinating colour but I first went over it with my heat gun so it looked slightly withered.

 Yes its that time again its the Gingerloft challenge and this fortnights theme is one for the guys.
Men are never easy to make cards for, so here is mine.

I have used the WOLF MOON 2 digi from Gingerloft. I think any male would be happy to receive the card young or old especially with The New Moon and Vampires the in thing at the moment.

So what did I do,

I  coloured the main image with Pro-markers and extended the rock to complete the image. I then used my brushes and distress inks to finish the night sky, to complete the look I added star shaped gems.  The image is  mounted on silver miri which is mounted on to Midnight Muse from stampin up and finished of with silver miri.

I used a Visible Image stamp for the sentiment, mounted  up on the same layers as the image topper.

A little Kraft

Its that time again its Sunday and its our new challenge at Ginger Loft  the theme this time is Kraft card.

For this challenge I have used the Sunflower collage 2, don't you just love it .I decided to make a gift for my mum for her birthday, I covered a box (upcycled) and made gift cards to go inside.The first image I coloured, I actually added  glossy accents to the main  images the sunflower , butterfly and dragon fly after I had coloured them with my Pro-Markers. To make the centre of the sunflower I added brown glitter. To age the image I added distress ink.

This image I mounted on a box I had a gift in at Christmas that happened to be Kraft.

After that I printed more of the same image and coloured them with pro-markers,  I did distress the outer edge of the image but i didn't add glossy accents to these.

The Colour Green

 Its got round to that time again its the Ginger Loft new challenge The Colour Green. Being on the design team ,this was the image I decided to use Its is Mermaid Scene 2 I just love it  :). I have used pro markers to colour the image, then added H2O paints to give the tail a glisten (this doesn't really show up). I then used green distress ink to give it the watery look. The backing paper is a digi paper that I made using Serif Craft Artist. I then added the transparency to the paper to make it look like water.

Complimenting this with  some images of seaweed to make the setting more realistic. The image and backing paper were mounted on to green card from Stampin up, the card is an 8 inch square.  To finish the card I have used glossy accents to stick on dew drops which look like bubbles.

Ribbons & Bows

Here is my first card as a member of GingerLoft Challenge Blog Design Team, Thanks to Tami for allow me to join the talented group of designers.

I chose the Butterfly Collage image from Ginger loft to be my first image, I have decoupaged the butterflies and the leaves. The image was coloured with Pro Markers. I then mounted my topper on gold and cream 

card.

The backing paper is designed from the serif  professional artist program, I also printed off a number of roses that i have also decoupaged up.I backed the paper with cream card and mounted it on a 8 inch square kraft card. To finish off the card  i added a ribbon and 2 bows I used Stampin Up ribbon its my favorite.
