The most wonderful time of the year.

Hi folks its Thursday and that means my weekly visit to
this week I am using
To create the card I stamped the image 4 times (2 full images and 2 part)
I coloured the  edge of the main image and the back of the fireplace, on the second image I coloured the full image and removed the back of the fireplace. I cut and coloured the mantle and socks and on the last image I just coloured the stocking all with promarkers. I then decoupaged the image up using 3d foam. I used Christmas Nordic paper that looked like wall paper mounted on black card to be the first layer. Then I mounted the fireplace topper. The sentiment was stamped onto silver mirri then embossed with black embossing powder. I mounted the silver mirri onto a punched element to resemble a mirror drawing on threads and  added a brad. I then used the tiny holly leaf from the Holly Jolly set coloured and mounted them up as corner elements and on the mirror. To finish off the card I added a Christmas tree charm coloured with promarkers.
Many thanks for calling by.
Make  sure you visit the store for all the wonderful stock.

Close your eyes and make a wish

Hi It's Sunday and that means a new challenge from the Purple team at
This weeks theme is
 Anything but a card

(could be scrapbook layouts, bookmarks, candles, atc's, inchies, altered art, wall hangings, canvas, tags, giftbags...the possibilities are endless lol :)

I decided to go for a tag using the Inkylicious dandelion wishes set. Which I stamped with veramark onto a Inkylicious tag and embossed it with clear  WOW powder and worked on a resist technique. I then used my brushes and distress inks to make the background and finished  off with stickles glue smeared around the edge and on the dandelions. To finish the tag off I added co-ordinating ribbons.

Spring Blossom

The  Spring blossom is on the tree's on the Isle of Man, and I think this reminds of cherry blossom. I have used the large winter tree from Visible Image for my tree and embossed it with WOW embossing powder on to a large decorative spellbinder circle cut from midnight muse card.. I made a similar card in yellow and blue for my Sincerely Yours Creations design team card( don't for get to enter the theme is Mother's Day) scroll down through my cards to see it. That card is in England for my Mum and this is for my darling husband's Mum. I cut out mini flowers ,used a ball tool to shape them added with pva glue then added liquid pearls to them in baby blue. The back ground is using the tree branches and stamping with midnight muse and pretty in pink ink from Stampin Up . I then cut out circles in co-ordinating card , spiraled them and made the small flowers. I used a Spellbinder to cut out the banner and stamped with with Mother's day from the happy mothers day stamp from Visible Image and added a small happy.
Many thanks for calling by, please let me know you have visited, so I can pop over and say hi.
