Farmer John at Imagine That

My second project using a new release is a card using Farmer John,

I love tractors especially John Deeres

hence how I have coloured it.

Here is my card

I have coloured the image with pro-markers, and finished off with my distress inks and brushes. The image is cut out with a spellbinder die and I have mounted it on a faux nestie. The pattern paper is from my scrap box. I then cut out 2 of the corn spellbinder dies, the sentiment which I think is perfect is is from Hobby Art. the whole thing is mounted on a kraft card blank.

In the flower patch

Its a new challenge from Artistic Inspirations and this weeks challenge is Anything Goes

Here is my card made with Ava in the flower patch. i fell in love with her the minute I saw her

So what did I do,

I used Promarkers to colour Ava and the grasses in, and used my brushes and distress ink to finish the back ground. I used a Spellbinder ornate labels one to cut the image out and mounted her on to a plain labels one in pink die shape,this was my background for the easel.

The white card is a shaped card from Hunkydory.

I cut another labels one in pink for the bottom inner and paper pierced it the all the way round.

To compliment the daisies on the picture I made daisies with a EZ punch which I mounted 2 flower punches off set to make the flower and added buttercup colour liquid pearls for the centre.

I then cut leaves with a Stampin Up die and coloured the with my pro-markers. these were mounted on 3 foam to make the easel stopper.

To finish off the card I added a butterfly and added buttercup liquid pearls on the thorax.
