Sarah Hurley Design Team

Hi folks here is my first official project using Sarah's wonderful kits it is from All Sewn Up ( I have completed work for the up coming challenge and the new Lookbook, but thats for another day ;) ). (Click on the picture above for a direct link)
Here is my hybrid card, the great thing is because Sarah has designed for Serif and Craft Artist her digi kits will work with the system. What you have to do is bring them into the program as photos then take them to the work area, then from there you drag and drop them into the section you want them in . Don't forget papers can also be materials. Once you have done this with all your embellishments papers etc. You will need to save the kit, and it will then be there next time, don't forget to call it something  you can remember.
So what did I do, once I had loaded my kit into  Serif Craft Artist Professional . I picked a 8 by 8 square and brought papers and elements in until I was happy. The happy birthday was an element I already had.
Once I was happy I printed my page off twice. The first one I cut down slightly so I could mount it onto the pink card, which I drew faux stitches on. Then I decoupaged
the patches, dressmakers dummy , lady ,crochet flowers and the ribbon. Which I mounted on 3d foam. To complete the card I added buttons (normal & scissors)
Thanks for calling by let me know what you think.

Imagine That! Speeding by to say Hi!!!!

 Grab our Badge!
Yes its that time again and if you entered last the challenge the you should have received your wonderful image.
If you didn't then go along to the challenge to get your free image as challenge 4 is a "FREE FOR ALL"

This is what I did with mine.
The car is coloured with Pro-markers and the background was  made using my distress inks and brushes

check out my tutorial to how I do this. I then coloured some more balloons and decoupaged them up  and added glossy accents , I also added it on the number 1's and glitter on the flames. I then used a spellbinder die on the sentiment used distress inks to match the flames while in the die. I then drew round the die to make a faux nestie which is perfect to set off the sentiment. The blue paper is from a basic grey pad and the red card is from Stampin up .
So wish I had these papers but they have only been release today to go with the images.

Kris has also brought out a image with out the presents and balloons and a "wishing you a speedy recovery" sentiment (I love the recovery as its made from plasters.) I decided to colour the car  in greys and added a plaster/band-aid to the wheel. I then made some co-ordinating paper on my craft artist.
But if that's not your idea of fun you could always try out Kris's new paper which would work so well with the racing cars.

Cats & Dogs

I not aware of the reason why Sincerely Yours Creation Challenge blog has been removed and can only apologies to those who entered and those who sponsored the site.
When I have more information I will update the post.

This fortnights challenge was Cats & Dogs, with images from the sponsor
finally the stamps you've been looking for rubber stamp company Rubber Stamps, Gold Leaf, Foil, and Glass Beads for Stampin, Scrapbooks, Card Making, and Paper Crafts

I used the Celebrating Kitty image, coloured with pro markers, I tried to colour him to resemble Monty my big ginger tom.
I mounted him on the brick wall stamped on kraft card , which is a Visible Image stamp
I then put a balloon on twine, cut using a spellbinder die in his hand and added the fish embellishment and I love cats.
The backing papers are printed using  Serif Craft Artist and different kits.
Thanks for calling by, please let me know you have visited .

Imagine That...A new nurse stamp

Such a great image if you have someone who is under the weather, but could also be great for anyone qualifying as a nurse.
I have coloured my image with Pro-Markers and used my brushes to create a background on the image plate and added a clock button. To create the pink backing paper I have used my Serif Craft Artist . The embellishments are made using my Cameo which I cut out and coloured with my pro markers  and finished off with a gingham bow and safety pin.
