I was asked to make this card by a friend for her friend the only brief was purple. I was please how it turned out.

May Progressive Challenge at Imagine That!

Happy May Day!!  Remember when we were kids and we'd make up li'l flower baskets and take them to friends & families' doors, set the basket down, knock and then run away?  Well it may not have been everyone's traditions, but we did that as kids on the first day in May *Ü*

This month we're( In America ) celebrating Moms, (or your daughters, grandma's etc.). EVERYONE WHO PLAYS WINS!!  If you played last month, you were emailed this set.  If you did not, please check your spam folder.

Our challenge set this month is "Girl with MOM Banner"

Here is the card I made with the image.

I also used the Spring Fields papers, I so love this set and this paper is so useful daisies and butterflies what more could you want.

Right back to my card I coloured my image with Promarkers and Specturm Noir pens and cut the image out I added glossy accents to the Mom and heart.

The paper is mounted on a Hunkydory flower shaped card and I finished off by adding handmade daisies.

So what did I do.

Today I have used card & toppers from

Hunkydory. I am a stamper and very rarely use bought toppers, but I do love this card. I have used silver mirri under the bottom layer to match the cake topper.

I have added  a ribbon and gems  down the flower panel and onto the sentiment.

Hi It's Tuesday and that means a new

challenge from

Sun Moon & stars

So what did I do.

1 I used craft Artist Professional to create my decoupaged image .

I then added the sentiment.

2.I used glossy accents to go over the moon and stars when dry i went round them with gold stickles.

3. I then mounted the image on blue card & mirri card all which can be bought from the scrapping centre.

4. to finish off the card I added an assortment of gem stars .

 So what did I do

1. I have used the  Whispering tree digi printed on to card.

2. I have used  home made masks and my distress inks and brushes and coloured the image with promarkers.

3.Image mounted onto black card and mounted onto a DL card blank and added my little birds..

Labor day

Hi folks, today is my first DT card for the

Cut It up Challenge

(I really wanted to join the team as I need to get more use out of my dies and cutting machine)

Our theme is

Labor day  

celebrate a pregnancy

or a new baby.

The essential thing is you

 must use a die cut

Our sponsor is

 Here is my card.

So what did I do.

1. I used my sizzix Baby booties & Pacifiers die to cut out a pink die cut and a gingham die cut and a extra yellow dummy part of the pacifier.

2.I then made the booties up and added lace around the top and ribbon bows.

3. I did the same with the pacifier

4. For the background I embossed a white piece of card with a baby embossing folder and then dusted it with

pink ink.

5. Pink card , gingham layer and white embossed layer mounted onto a 7 x 7 card blank.

6. Embellishments added with 3 d foam

Things with Wings with Creative Card Crew

Hi It's Tuesday and that means a new challenge from

Our theme this challenge is 

Things with Wings and our sponsor is

I have used the Ivy fairy

So what did I do

1. I coloured the image with pro-markers and finished the background off with distress inks and dusters.

I fussy cut an extra pair of wings  and used 3d glue. 

2. For the miri background I used the Visible image stamp and embossed with black embossing powder. Then layered it up with green & black card on a white 7 x 7 card blank.

3 I added ivy leaves and gems to finish the card off.

Morning all , I was lucky to get the freebie from the

The image this week was Good Girl

I keep telling my Hubby I am a good girl but I have never looked like that !!!!! lol

So what did I do

1. Image coloured with pro-markers , fussy cut and mounted on black.

2. backing paper mounted on black card and onto a DL card blank.

3, Finished off with gems

1. I have used my High Hope stamps to create a scene.

Creative Craft Challenge 2  not a square

Bobbing along with Sarah Hurley

Hi Folks it's Thursday and that means it my weekly visit to Sarah Hurley's

this week I am using another one of my teamies Janie's Designs

Don't be Crabby

So what did I do

1. I stamped the shells and starfish ,bubbles and angel fish onto card . I also stamped the shells & starfish on to spare card.  

2. Coloured images with pro-markers I then added glossy accents to the fish and bubbles.

3. Once dry I added distress inks with my brushes to the background.

4. Then mounted starfish flat and shells on 3d foam.

5. Main image mounted on card then paper used from Imagine That  Diane Day Dream Beachscapes paper

then on card again and mounted on to an A5 card.

6. To finish off I printed off a sentiment on the computer, then mounted it on to the same card and added dew drops down the side.

New Butterflies with Sarah Hurley

Hi folks it Thursday and that means my weekly project for

 

Design team

This week I have used one of Sarah's new set 

Butterflies

So what did I do

1. Stamp chosen butterflies and sentiment in momento ink

on card.

2. Colour image with promarkers

3. Cover butterflies with glossy accents 

allow to dry

4. Mount using 3d foam onto glossy black and blue card.

5. Mount topper on to DL card.

Hummingbird Framed

Hi Its the 1st of July and that means a new challenge from

For our anything goes challenge

I have used

Fuchsia & Hummingbird by Delicious Doodles

Don't you just love this image.

 So what did I do.

1. I coloured the image with Promarkers

(I tried to make them as realistic as possible)

2. I coloured a second set of the top part of the fuchsia and top hummingbird wing then decoupaged them on the image

 3. I used inks & brushes to finish background image

4. Mounted image on black card.

5. Mounted image on 3d foam on a Centura lilac card blank.
